Giving Opportunities:
Gifts in Tribute
Gifts to our Masonic homes in memory or in honor of family and friends are
a special way to celebrate the meaning of their lives. Birthdays,
anniversaries, and all of life's celebrations are reasons to remember and
give thanks.
Rose Garden
Pay tribute to an individual, a couple, an entire family, or an organization
such as a Lodge or Chapter so they may "smell the roses and hear the
applause" they richly deserve during their lifetime. This unique giving program emphasizes
the joy that each person experiences when giving and receiving. Annual
dinners are held to welcome new "roses" to the garden. Gifts of
$500 are encouraged.
Endowment Society
Gifts to endowment insure the future of our Homes and provide the donor
with tax benefits and/or income for life. A "Sunday Dinner at Home" is held each October in appreciation
and recognition of Society members. Some Pathways to Giving:
- An outright gift of cash, land or appreciated securities
- Inclusion of Minnesota Masonic Elder Services in a will providing a gift of money or
property
- Trusts and charitable gift annuities that pay the donor specified income for life
- Designation of Minnesota Masonic Elder Services as the owner or beneficiary
of a life insurance policy
- Inclusion of Minnesota Masonic Elder Services as a charitable beneficiary in
a life estate agreement
Gifts to Minnesota Masonic Elder Services and its related
not-for-profit corporations are tax deductible and are promptly
acknowledged. Gifts play an important role in our mission of "Caring for
the Masonic family and others, guided by the Masonic principles of
brotherly love, relief and truth."
