Minnesota Masonic Homes Bloomington is proud of their volunteers. As a volunteer you may share your talents and skills, explore a new career path and see the impact you have on another person's life. We have a number of opportunities available for individuals of all ages and backgrounds, for children and parents or grandparents, for pets and their owners, and for groups.

  • Activities Assistant
    • Description

      Invite and escort residents to and from activities. Assist with the activity. Visit and serve refreshments.

  • Coffee Shop Attendant
    • Description

      Greet, take food orders, and deliver foods to customers in the General Store Coffee Shop. Maintain work areas and an attractive appearance in the coffee shop and the Promenade sidewalk café.

  • General Store Cashier
    • Description

      Provide customer service, operate the cash register in the General Store and assist with stocking shelves.

  • Goodie Cart Attendant
    • Description

      Visit residents & patients with a rolling cart stocked with goodies from The General Store. No cash handling - all transactions are resident in-house charge.

  • Manicurist
    • Description

      Add beauty to resident's hands as you clean and polish fingernails and converse with residents.

  • Mealtime Helper
    • Description

      Assist staff during mealtimes by providing activities, conversation or other assistance.

  • Shopping Companion
    • Description

      Escort Transitional Care Unit patients to and from Town Square.

  • Shopping/Outings Assistant
    • Description

      Assist Activities Staff on outing to shopping mall/grocery store. Visit with the residents.

  • Transitional Care Unit Greeter
    • Description

      Welcome and direct new patients & visitors who come to the Transitional Care Unit.
