Minnesota Masonic Homes Bloomington is proud of its volunteers. As a volunteer you may share your talents and skills, explore a new career path and see the impact you have on another person's life. We have a number of opportunities available for individuals of all ages and backgrounds, for children and parents or grandparents, for pets and their owners, and for groups.

Volunteer opportunities at Minnesota Masonic Home:
Walk and talk with residents as you escort them to and from appointments.
Church Service Escort
Escort residents to our Sunday morning worship services.
Greeter - Rehab Center
Welcome patients to our Rehab (Transitional Care) Center for admissions. Provide a warm blanket and beverages if patients so desire. Pleasant, outgoing with strong communication and listening skills.
- Host - Rehab Center
Help patient pack up belongings. Transport the patient and/or belongings to the entrance. Answer any questions.
Assist the Therapeutic Recreation staff with jewelry making, holiday crafts, knitting and crocheting, etc.
Bring your friendly pet into the facility to visit with our residents. All shot records must be updated. Therapy dogs are welcome!
Develop friendships as you visit with our residents, help them write letters, read to them and share your interests and experiences.
Resident Nail Care
Help the Therapeutic Recreation staff with simple resident nail care. You will not be trimming nails! This is a good opportunity to visit with residents while you provide a pampering experience for them.
Enrich our residents' lives with your music.
Assist the Therapeutic Recreation staff on outings. You will ride on our vans and escort/assist residents throughout the trip.
